sketchbook challenge – uh-oh

Much of the art work I create involves 2 processes.
There is the planning process where I’ve plotted out my idea on the computer & everything has been pulled together to actually begin. Then there is the what-if process where the unknown element comes into play. This sketch for instance:
After drawing & hand painting this phrase with ink, I took a scissor to it. No going back & there wasn’t a planned do-over if it didn’t work out. It’s a committed act, like the one you make when you physically throw a rock through a window. Except this is just a sketch.
Tomorrow… sad news!
