sketchbook challenge – when the wrong side is better

I tried my best to execute a piece of hand stitched embroidery with a similar unfinished quality as the reverse face of yesterdays’ sketch and still maintain a readable message. Normally I would have done this in black & white but I love the raw loopy-ness & loose ends of all the thread colours I used.

Here’s this sketch in ARTiculations window gallery as part of their Fill ‘er Up show. I wasn’t brave enough to have my sketchbook left available at the gallery for anyone to flip through…
