new paper cogs

Cog Blocks (5)xWhen I make a series of paper cogs for wall installations, there are always a few leftover & available for experimentation. These 3 pieces were from a grouping made from romance novels & I dipped them in wax. It provides additional strength while also enhancing the translucent colour of the tanning paper. They fit perfectly into these little picture frames I found and refinished in a matte black lacquer.

I call them paper succulents. For the wall or the side table, they are my kind of easy care gardening & you can find them in my Etsy shop here.Cog Blocks A (4)x
